Keep the following in mind as you contribute to the site:

• Make good edits. Always use the SHOW PREVIEW button to check your changes before you use the SAVE button. If you make a mistake, wait 15 minutes before saving the same page a third or fourth time in a row.
• Saving lots of edits without PREVIEWING will get the moderators on your case, and can get you banned from the Wiiki.
• If you plan to update a lot of pages in a short period of time, please clear it with a moderator first.
• Write articles in third person (using words like he, she and they) instead of first person (I, me and we.) User pages and talk pages are the exceptions to this rule.
• Use correct grammar, spelling and capitalization.
• If someone posts on your talk page, please post a reply.
• Sign all of your posts on talk pages with four tildes (~~~~). This will turn into your name and the time you wrote the comment.
• Don't delete anything from your talk page.
• Use the Templates on the Main Page when making new articles for content such as Custom Tracks, Texture Hacks, Characters and other releases.
• We encourage all content makers to create a User Link to put on their release pages and to add it to the Author List.

About Your Video Edits

Hiya! First of all I would like to thank you a lot for adding videos to a lot of Wiki pages which are either missing them entirely or major versions, it is actually very helpful. However, particularly as I don't believe you are in any Discord servers surrounding this community, I just wanted to let you know about concerns some custom track creators have had regarding some videos you have added. The overarching concern is the videos being added when:
a) There is already a video on the page (usually by the author themselves), and the added video covers a newer version which shows few to no differences.
b) The video being added is of a relatively poor quality (i.e., poor driving, low video quality and pausing/controller disconnections during the race).
All I ask is that if a track already has a video on it (especially if it has better quality), would you please be able to consider whether the video you are adding shows enough difference to warrant another it being there? It is not the end of the world for some minor(ish) versions to be missed or a page to not use all three video slots. Request Media Page

Hi!

Following some discussions, a new page to Request Media media has been created. This stemmed from several video creators, including myself, not knowing what needed to be recorded due to Category:No media's shortcomings. Going forward, when you add videos to pages, could you have a look at the page, see if the video in question was requested and if so, remove it from the table?
